On 11-13 April 2007, the seventh APEC Future Economic Leaders Think Tank was held in Sydney. Hosted by Axiss, the Think Tank focused on networking, problem-solving and the development of creative responses to regional economic and financial challenges. The objectives of the program were to: Identify future issues and develop creative and practical approaches to dealing with difficulties; and Foster closer collaboration across economies and the region as a whole on key financial and monetary issues.
