Comalco Alumina Refinery is one of nine Supplier Access to Major Projects (SAMP) Case Studies.  With 86% Australian content, construction of stage one of Comalco's alumina refinery near Gladstone has kept $1.35 million construction dollars in the country and created 2150 jobs for Australian workers.  It now injects $1.4 million into the national economy each year.
