Independent analysis of Higher Education Funding

The Department of Industry, Innovation, Climate Change, Science, Research and Tertiary Education commissioned Ernst & Young to conduct an independent validation of Departmental calculations of funding per Commonwealth subsidised student place. The Ernst & Young report analyses the impact of Government reforms in response to the Bradley Review. The report compares the level of actual funding with what would have been provided had the reforms not taken place.

Higher Education is central to achieving the Government’s vision of a stronger and fairer nation. The Government is proposing a landmark reform agenda for higher education and research that will transform the scale, potential and quality of the nation’s universities and open the doors to higher education to a new generation of Australians.
