Prime Minister's Taskforce on Manufacturing


The Prime Minister’s Taskforce on Manufacturing was appointed by the Government in October 2011 to investigate what could be done to support jobs and a future for manufacturing in Australia. The Government released the report of the non-Government members of the Prime Minister's Taskforce on Manufacturing Smarter Manufacturing for a Smarter Australia on 16 August 2012. Although the Taskforce has concluded the following links are provided for background information:


The Government has established the Manufacturing Leaders Group to provide strategic advice on manufacturing to the Government, and to assist in implementing the Government’s response to the Taskforce’s recommendations.
