To remain connected with the enabling technologies community, an Advisory Council will be established in early 2010, engaging 8 to 12 stakeholders including representatives from industry, research, NGOs, social scientists and Government. The Advisory Council will meet twice a year to discuss progress of the Strategy. It will be asked to provide comment and advice to my department on the operation and future direction of the Strategy.

State Working Group
Under the Strategy, a State Working Group will be established utilising existing mechanisms such as the Commonwealth State and Territory Advisory Council on Innovation (CSTACI) framework.
A State Working Group, possibly in the form of a sub group of CSTACI, will be established to deal with enabling technology issues which require a coordinated national approach. The Group will be established in 2010 and meet as issues arise that would benefit from a nationally coordinated approach.
