- develop policy to help Australia achieve a strong science and research capacity and to be engaged internationally on science and research issues
- administer science and research infrastructure funding programs
- undertake analyses of research performance
- undertake analyses and report to the Government on the performance and impact of individual Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) and the CRC Program
Our commitment to you
Except where not practicable, we commit to giving you a minimum of four weeks to comment on new initiatives and major policy changes and a minimum of two weeks to comment on routine amendments to program guidelines.
When these consultation periods need to be shortened, we will tell you about the shorter timeframe and give you an explanation of the reasons.
We commit to giving you feedback on the outcome of our consultations. We will provide you with a schedule of proposed consultations for the year ahead to assist with your planning.
