Grants to help develop the digital literacy of young AustraliansWednesday, April 26, 2017
Fifty four primary and secondary schools across Australia have received grants totalling nearly $2 million for projects to boost digital literacy among their students.
The funding is part of the Digital Literacy School Grants initiative under the National Innovation and Science Agenda and is to encourage and facilitate implementation of the new Australian Curriculum: Digital Technologies.
The grants will help both students and teachers to access the tools they need to enhance their digital literacy, and to develop a workforce equipped to take advantage of Australia’s future opportunities.
