Regional Collaborations Programme to boost Asia-Pacific industry and research collaboration

The Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, the Hon Greg Hunt MP has launched the Regional Collaborations Programme.

The programme comprises $3.2 million to encourage Australian researchers and businesses to collaborate with their counterparts around the Asia-Pacific region to develop products and solutions to shared challenges such as food and energy security and disaster resilience.

The programme is one of four funded initiatives under the National Innovation and Science Agenda’s Global Innovation Strategy which is designed to advance Australia’s international industry, science and research collaboration.
