$8.69 million to boost innovation and science links with global partners
Monday, April 10, 2017Nine Australian businesses and research organisations will share $8.69 million in funding under the Global Innovation Linkages programme (GIL), an initiative under the Australian Government’s National Innovation and Science Agenda.
The grants are an investment by the Australian Government to create stronger innovation and science links with global partners to help address industry challenges in the following Industry Growth Centre sectors: Advanced Manufacturing, Food and Agribusiness, Medical Technologies and Pharmaceuticals, Mining Equipment, Technology and Services and Oil, Gas and Energy Resources.
GIL is a new initiative under the Global Innovation Strategy which addresses known vulnerabilities and challenges through international collaboration and startup support.
